It’s still in the way-early release stage (I’ve managed to crash it three times in the last hour), and it still have a load of problems, but Chimera is a cool Gecko-powered Cocoa (native Mac OS X) app that uses Mac OS X’s awesome Quartz display engine, so it anti-aliases all the text on the page, which is nice if you like that. As soon as it gets usable for most everyday use, I’m switching over to it.
Eric Meyer’s article on using CSS to manage rollovers is farking brilliant. I can’t believe I missed this article when it came out. There’s a reason some of us call him “Mr. CSS.”
