First Day at New Job
I had a great first day at my new job. I’ve got a pile of big, cool projects to work on. A lot of the work will be similar to my old job (the new gig’s with a newspaper, too), but in a MUCH more pleasant environment. I’ll be doing a LOT of php and SQL work, but I’ll also be doing quite a bit of design work, too, which is nice. I like balancing the left-brain and right-brain stuff about equally, though the programming work tends to come a bit easier to me. Any way you look at it, though, it’s going to be a welcome change to actually look forward to going to work each day.
