Save Harry! is a site where you can send a form email to JK Rowling, asking her to stop future advertising by Coca-Cola using Harry Potter. The argument: soft drinks are making our children fat and unhealthy and keeping them addicted to soft drinks, creating legions of obese, unlhealthy adults. While I agree with the theory, I don’t know how much more Coke is going to sell just because Harry Potter’s image is on it. Then again, I don’t have young children who help me make my buying decisions. In Rowling’s defense, she had them donate a lot of money to Reading is Fundamental, and she’s been donated wheelbarrows full of money to good causes. Still, not a bad idea.
